Many of our child students become quite excited by their progress in the ability to create works of art.

We teach all of our students that anyone can learn how to draw and that only the artistically talented can draw is a myth.

We instill in our students the basic fundamentals of the subject and have them practice the techniques over and over. Just like one would learn any skill or profession.

Whereas many art schools both private and public have the teaching method of "if it feels good then go with it". This may be good enough to keep a child entertained for a day or two, but eventually the child becomes frustrated as they are not improving.

Beleive me when I saw that when a child is really learning how to draw and paint properly and is making progress the delight and enthusiasm displayed is far more powerful than that of any video game or modern toy.
